The Five Senses Team took a weed-infested hillside and created a stone wall and patio we use every day. They chose the perfect plants and flowers so we can enjoy our new outdoor space year-round. Nate and the landscape design team at Five Senses listened to everything we wanted in a new garden. They worked our personal taste and their knowledge of native plants to create the perfect garden oasis. -Duncan
Nate Reuther, Horticulturist and Bucks County Landscape Designer
Growing up, Nate spent many hours exploring the diversity along the Rancocas Creek (a tributary of the Delaware) and the sandy forests that bordered it near his childhood home in South Jersey. His detailed observations of the natural world were expressed in drawings and paintings of wildlife and landscapes. Nate’s passion for nature and art led him to attend Longwood Garden's two year intensive Professional Horticulture Program after which Nate continued his academic studies in Ornamental Horticulture at Temple University. Today, Nate builds living art installations by maximizing the design and use potential of outdoor space, however large or small. Crafting fine gardens, courtyards and interactive outdoor living spaces, Nate designs with elements of natural stone, sculptures and detailed plant lists with sophisticated color pallets and textures.
